Hearts sign Ngoo on loan from Liverpool

Liverpool striker Michael Ngoo has completed his move to Hearts on loan until the end of the season.

Michael Ngoo will be hoping to make an impact in Scotland

Ngoo, 20, follows in the footsteps of Anfield team-mate Danny Wilson in signing for Hearts this month after their transfer embargo was lifted.

The Edinburgh side are only able to sign under-21s on a one-in, one-out basis but have room to manoeuvre following the departures of Ryan McGowan and Peter Enckelman.

Hearts manager John McGlynn revealed on Thursday they had secured a link-up with Liverpool and Ngoo is the latest to benefit from the deal.

“I'm honoured to be here. I'm delighted and happy to be at such a big team and I'm ready to go,” Ngoo told Hearts News.

The striker will go straight into the Hearts squad for their Scottish Communities League Cup semi-final against Inverness on Saturday. Inverness have gone ten matches unbeaten and are hoping to reach their first ever major final.
