Berwick moved joint top of Scottish League Two with a resounding 5-0 win at home to 10-man East Stirling.

Lee Currie opened the scoring with a superb 30-yard effort into the top corner despite keeper Richard Barnard getting a hand on it.

The game exploded into life after the interval with player-manager Colin Cameron bagging his first goal with a 20-yard drive.

Striker Darren Lavery added a third on 73 minutes after being set free by a long ball from the back and he finished superbly off the inside of the post.

Former Berwick defender Michael Bolochoweckyj saw red for East Stirling after elbowing Paul Willis with just over 10 minutes remaining.

Scott Dalziel made it four after slotting home a square ball from substitute Craig Dargo before John Fairburn deepened East Stirling's woes with a header late on.
