Airdrie picked up their first point of the season in a goalless draw against Stirling.
Both goals led a charmed life as neither side was able to break the deadlock.
Having seen a shot come back off the woodwork in the opening exchanges through James Lister, Airdrie came close again when Paddy Boyle's left-footed free-kick slammed against Callum Reidford's post.
Stirling looked equally as threatening, with Ross Forsyth firing a close-range shot into the crossbar following a good save from Chris Smith's header.
The Binos came out of the blocks strongest after the break. Gordon Smith rifled a shot against the underside of the crossbar after 47 minutes and Craig Comrie could not convert the rebound.
Airdrie almost snatched it at the death but Reidford smothered with Lister lurking.
