Hearts boss Robbie Neilson has recalled striker Gary Oliver from his loan spell at Stenhousemuir ahead of Saturday's Tynecastle clash with Alloa.

Sam Nicholson and Dale Carrick could feature after shaking off knocks but Neilson has called Oliver back early as Osman Sow continues to miss out with a thigh strain.

Now Neilson has challenged the teenager to provide the goals which fire the Jambos to the Scottish Championship title.

He said: "We have a few games coming up and need as many players available...

Raith welcome back Ross Perry against Hibernian after a ban kept him out of his side's 2-1 defeat at Dumbarton last Saturday.

Craig Barr is in contention for a starting place for the first time since joining in the summer after he recovered from knee surgery, but goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert remains out.

Rovers manager Grant Murray said: "We lost last weekend to a late penalty that was soft in my opinion so we are looking to bounce back against Hibs.

"We did well at their place earlier in the season and...

Queen of the South will be without Andy Dowie against visitors Cowdenbeath.

The SFA rejected the appeal to overturn the retrospective ban issued to the defender for a challenge on Ian Black of Rangers last Friday.

Iain Russell is also banned and player-manager James Fowler has delayed naming his side as Ian McShane and Danny Carmichael are carrying knocks.

The long-term injured Chris Mitchell (back), Stephen McKenna (heel) and Paul Burns (knee) have returned to training, however they are not yet match...

Dumbarton have ruled out Jordan Kirkpatrick for the visit of Falkirk due to a hip problem.

There could be further absentees for the Sons as both Kieran MacDonald and Mark Gilhaney are facing fitness tests.

Manager Ian Murray said: "Both teams go into this game in good form so it should be a good game. We drew with Falkirk earlier in the season, however we would much prefer a win this time out.

"We want to be a top-half side and winning this game pulls us closer to that objective."

Falkirk are without...

Rangers defender Lee Wallace will return to Ally McCoist's side for Saturday's Championship clash with Livingston.

The left-back missed four games following an ankle knock and family bereavements but should feature at Ibrox.

Lewis Macleod remains on the sidelines with a hamstring tear while defender Marius Zaliukas (knee) and goalkeeper Cammy Bell (shoulder) are stepping up their recovery work.
