Match Preview: Elgin - Peterhead
Soccernet.com

Ex-Chester striker Ricky James is fit again and could make his first start of the season for Elgin City in their North derby with Peterhead at Borough Briggs.

Hitman Kevin Steele is suspended but Mike Sanderson, out for two weeks for work reasons, is available again.

Centre half Dave Mackay, who had a knee problem, came through a fitness test at the flood-hit club's temporary training HQ at Gordonstoun School and will play but midfielder Dave Ross is struggling with a groin strain.

Elgin have not won since September 28 and have drawn half their 16 games, but they have taken four points from two meetings with Peterhead.

Peterhead have a clean bill of health and after his four goals at East Stirling last week, 10-goal Martin Johnston is the man City must watch.

Manager Ian Wilson is set to make only one change with Dougie Cameron in line to come into the midfield.

Squad player Greg Smith hurt his face and chest in a midweek accident as a taxi passenger and will not be in contention for a substitute place.
