Match Preview: Elgin - Morton
Soccernet.com

Elgin City have a triple injury headache when they play host to Morton at Borough Briggs.

Ricky James (hamstring), David Hind (ankle) and Andy Smith (muscle strain) are all non-starters as manager Alex Caldwell looks to build on three games without defeat.

Chris Love will return to the starting line up while Mike Teasdale, who has not played this season through illness, will take a place on the substitutes' bench.

Morton manager Dave McPherson will be without the injured David Hopkin and the suspended Marco Maisano for the game.

And McPherson admits he is delighted with the recent form of his young striker Alex Williams and hopes that he can continue his recent form on Saturday.

McPherson said: "Alex Williams has really been doing the business for us and if he can keep that up, and the midfield keep chipping in with a few goals then we'll cause most teams a few problems."
