Freiburg sign Mehmedi on loan

Dynamo Kiev forward Admir Mehmedi has joined Freiburg on loan, with the Bundesliga side having the option to make the deal permanent.

Admir Mehmedi slots home for Switzerland to confirm a 100% record for the Swiss
Mehmedi joined Dynamo Kiev in January 2012.

The Switzerland international becomes the third player to make a temporary switch to Freiburg, with Vaclav Pilar and Francis Coquelin having already arrived from Wolfsburg and Arsenal respectively.

“We have been in touch with Admir Mehmedi for many years,” Freiburg's acting sporting director, Klemens Hartenbach, told the club's official website. “He is a very versatile attacking player who understands the game

“He's already proven that he can operate at the highest level.”
