Galliani plays down Honda links
AC Milan vice president has played down reports the Rossoneri have agreed terms with CSKA Moscow for the transfer of Keisuke Honda, but refused to rule out a move for the 27-year-old.
Milan have been in negotiations with Honda's representatives in recent weeks, according to the Italian media, and it is believed the Japan international would be worth around €2.5 million per season.
Honda's strong performances for Japan in the World Cup qualifiers and Confederations Cup have made him a target for a number of European clubs, but Milan look close to signing the midfielder.
Several media outlets in Italy claimed on Thursday that Honda is set to join on a four-year deal and although he refused to confirm the rumours, Galliani hinted that a move is imminent.
"At the moment, he is a CSKA Moscow player," he told Sky Sport. "But who can predict what will happen in the future?"
