Germany could rest their Premier League players for the 2017 Confederations Cup, with Oliver Bierhoff saying the English top flight is "exhausting."
Seven of the competing nations are already confirmed -- Russia, Germany, Chile, Australia, Mexico, Portugal and New Zealand.
With Germany having taken nine points from three qualifying matches, the flying start has led officials to speak about plans for the tournament.
Germany plan to use next summer's Confederations Cup to give their younger players experience of an international tournament.
Germany may not take all of their stars to the 2017 Confederations Cup in Russia, general manager Oliver Bierhoff has told Sport Bild.
"It is incredible for our team and the campaign," Hudson told ESPN FC. "It will be a real litmus test for us and we're looking forward to it."
