Gabriel Jesus signed a five-year deal with City in August but will remain with Palmeiras until the end of the Brazilian season in December.
"On the third of December, I will be in Monterrey for a match with Cinco Estrellas. I hope you will be there for the big event," Ronaldinho said.
"He did well in the game, if he wasn't suspended, would play normally," Dr. Sampaio said.
It's still early in the season but it is always a big occasion when Palmeiras and Flamengo clash in Brazilian football, writes Tim Vickery.
"The trainer checked him and said he was at 100 percent. That is the kind of injury that could happen to anyone," said Tite of Gabriel Jesus.
Ronaldinho is weighing up offers from the United States as he considers one final move in his playing career.
