Blackburn stay in relegation zone after goalless draw with Wolves

Blackburn kept their Sky Bet Championship survival hopes alive as they picked up a point in a goalless draw against Wolves.
Rovers are now unbeaten in three games but remain in the relegation zone after failing to make the most of the chances that came their way at Molineux.
They were by far the more positive of the two sides only to be let down by their finishing.
Wolves again had another day to forget in front of their own fans and have won only seven of their home league games this season.
Blackburn had an excellent chance to make the perfect start when captain Jason Lowe lifted the ball into the area from the right wing in the ninth minute.
The ball looked set to fall kindly for Sam Gallagher 12 yards from goal but the on-loan Southampton marksman, who rescued a point with his 12th goal of the season in Monday's 1-1 draw against Bristol City, mis-hit his shot.
The loose ball then fell to Craig Conway but he sliced his effort across the face of goal.
Blackburn's bright start continued six minutes later when Conway turned provider. He picked out Darragh Lenihan from the left wing only for the Irishman to steer his header narrowly wide of Andy Lonergan's near post from close range.
Wolves struggled to rediscover the form that had seen them stun promotion-chasing Leeds in their previous game and had to wait until the 28th minute to force their first chance, when Romain Saiss was off target with a header from Ben Marshall's cross.
In a bid to inject some life into his side manager Paul Lambert, who resigned as Blackburn boss at the end of last season following 33 games in charge, sent on Jon Dadi Bodvarsson as a replacement in attack for Nouha Dicko.
But Blackburn still looked the side with the greater intent and Gallagher was again left frustrated on the hour when he failed to connect with a header following a right-wing centre from Elliott Bennett.
Lonergan was then finally forced into his first save of the game after 66 minutes when Bennett whipped in a free-kick that the former Fulham goalkeeper had to beat away to safety.
Wolves one real clear chance fell to Bodvarsson nine minutes from time but he was denied by a superb last-ditch challenge from Elliott Ward as he looked set to pounce.
