David Moyes disappointed by opening draw with Real Sociedad

Real Sociedad boss David Moyes was not happy with just a point from his opening match in charge against Deportivo La Coruna, but the Scot enjoyed the experience.

The move to San Sebastian is something of a leap of faith for Moyes, whose reputation took a battering in England after he lasted just 10 months at Manchester United.

Moyes began his tenure with a goalless draw at Riazor as Sociedad registered their first clean sheet for seven months.

There were few chances of note in the game and Moyes wanted to see his side do more in the second period after dominating the first.

"I wanted to win and I'm not happy with the draw because we worked hard, but at the end we can say that's a fair point," he said.

"It was a good first half -- we were far superior. I was disappointed with the second half, we started the second half slowly.

"I really enjoyed it and it was a great experience."

The draw saw Sociedad move up to 14th ahead of Sunday's matches, with Moyes' next game in charge at home against Eibar on Friday night.
