Real Salt Lake reacquires forward Luis Silva after year with Tigres

Real Salt Lake has reacquired Luis Silva after the forward spent a year with Tigres in Liga MX.

Silva, 28, played the second half of the 2015 season with RSL and returns after making only two appearances for Tigres.

"We are excited to have Luis back," RSL general manager Craig Waibel said in a statement. "He's a talented player that we loved having here and during that time, he fit in very well with the organization. He can play multiple positions and brings another dimension to the attacking front."

Silva has scored 20 goals in 108 regular-season MLS games with Toronto FC, D.C United and RSL.
