Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane back in full training

Real Madrid have received a boost ahead of Saturday's La Liga game at Levante with captain Sergio Ramos and fellow defender Raphael Varane back in full training.

Both players took part in Thursday's session while Cristiano Ronaldo did specific training indoors.

Ramos had been sidelined with a calf problem since Jan. 5 while Varane suffered a knock on his knee during Real's 4-1 win at Valencia last weekend.

Wales international Gareth Bale trained for the second consecutive day with the squad after sitting out Tuesday's session to do specific exercises indoors.

Real are still without injured pair Dani Ceballos and Jesus Vallejo. Thursday's ball-work driven session focused on possession, passing and pressing.

Zinedine Zidane's side begin a busy month in Valencia against Levante in what could be one of six league games they will play in February, with the calendar yet to be finalised.

Real host Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League round of 16 on Feb. 14 with the return leg to be played on Mar 6 in Paris. Fourth-placed Real are 19 points adrift of leaders Barcelona with a game in hand.
