Real Madrid minus injury concerns for Champions League vs. Sporting Lisbon

Real Madrid have no new injury concerns for Tuesday's Champions League Group F game at Sporting Lisbon, with club captain Sergio Ramos and centre-forward Karim Benzema expected to get their first starts on their return to fitness.

Ramos and Benzema were both left on the bench for Saturday's derbi win at Atletico Madrid, with replacements Nacho Fernandez and Isco playing starring roles in an emphatic 3-0 win which kept Zinedine Zidane's side in charge of the La Liga title race.

The Spain defender and French forward have both now been included in the travelling party to Lisbon for Tuesday's game. For Cristiano Ronaldo, the match is a return to his first senior club. For Real Madrid, the game is must-win as the club cannot afford another slip after drawing 3-3 at bottom club Legia Warsaw in their last Champions League outing.

A club statement released as the players boarded the short flight to Lisbon confirmed that Zidane had named the same squad as for Saturday's game, and that defender Pepe and midfielder Casemiro are not yet ready to return.

"Zinedine Zidane has named a squad of 20 players for Real Madrid's Champions League group stage matchday five fixture against Sporting Clube de Portugal at the Jose Alvalade stadium (Tuesday, 8:45pm CET)," the statement said.

Real Madrid squad:

Goalkeepers: Keylor Navas, Casilla and Yanez.

Defenders: Carvajal, Ramos, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo, Coentrao and Danilo.

Midfielders: James, Kovacic, Modric, Asensio and Isco.

Forwards: Cristiano Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema, Lucas Vazquez and Mariano.
