Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata will miss a month of action after pulling a muscle during Spain's friendly against England on Tuesday, the club has said.
"After tests carried out on our player Alvaro Morata at the Sanitas La Moraleja University Hospital prior to the training session held today, Wednesday, he has been diagnosed with a grade 2 muscle injury in his right hamstring. His recovery will continue to be assessed," the club said via news release.
Morata will miss Saturday's derbi at Atletico Madrid and reports in Spain say he may also miss the Clasico on Dec. 3 against Barcelona as he could be out for a month.

England and Spain played to a 2-2 draw on Tuesday and Morata saw action during the final 26 minutes. He was taken out during Spain's previous match against Macedonia at the 59th minute with a knock to his right leg, but was passed fit to play against England.
Real Madrid also have concerns over the fitness of Gareth Bale, Casemiro, Mateo Kovacic and Karim Benzema ahead of Saturday's derbi.
In a fitness update, the club said that captain Sergio Ramos and key midfielder Luka Modric were on schedule to start their first games in some time, having recovered from knee problems.
