Zinedine Zidane: I don't know what will happen with Alvaro Morata

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane says he doesn't know what the future holds for Juventus striker Alvaro Morata this summer.

Morata joined Juventus from Real Madrid in the summer of 2014 after coming up through the academy with the Bernabeu club. Though a buy-back club inserted into the deal has many tipping the Spain international for a move back to Los Blancos this offseason.

The 23-year-old scored both goals to knock Real out of the Champions League semifinals in the 2014-15 season and has flashed signs of brilliance during his stay in Turin.

Asked about Morata's immediate future, Zidane said: "He has grown a lot in Italy. I don't know what will happen, but he did very well at Juventus.

"It is normal that they still want to keep him for another year, so we will see what happens.

"It's not the time to talk about it yet."
