Gareth Bale returns to training ahead of Real Madrid's La Liga finale

Gareth Bale looks set to return to action for Real Madrid this weekend having completed a training session with his club on Thursday.

The 26-year-old missed last Sunday's 3-2 Primera Division home victory against Valencia with a knee injury.

Real, currently a point behind leaders Barcelona, conclude their league campaign with a trip to Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday.

And it would appear Bale will be able to feature, with the Bernabeu outfit -- who face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League final towards the end of the month -- on Thursday posting a video on their official website showing the forward in a training session with his teammates.

A statement read: "The Whites trained at Real Madrid City with the addition of Gareth Bale, who completed the session with the group."

That will be welcomed as much by fans of Real as by Wales supporters, who hope to see Bale shining for his country this summer at Euro 2016.

Keylor Navas and Dani Carvajal returned to full training on Wednesday, while Lucas Vazquez remains an injury doubt for Los Blancos' final push.

Jese also sat out training on Thursday with the flu.
