Real Madrid star Isco gets two-game ban for Clasico red card - report

Real Madrid star Isco has been banned for two games after he was sent off for kicking Barcelona attacker Neymar during the 4-0 Clasico thrashing at the Bernabeu, AS has reported.

Isco, who came on as a second-half substitute at the Bernabeu, was sent off by referee David Fernandez Borbalan for a late hack at the Brazil captain.

AS said it meant he would miss the fixtures at Eibar on Sunday and at home to Getafe seven days later.

In his official match report, Fernandez Borbalan wrote that he had shown the red card to Isco for "a kick against an opposition player, with excessive use of force, with the ball not being within distance to be played."

Isco was left out of Madrid's starting lineup for the Clasico as coach Rafa Benitez returned fit again Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and James Rodriguez to his XI.

Marca has since claimed the 23-year-old Spain international could consider a move to another club "where he would be more valued."
