Dani Carvajal has signed a contract extension with Real Madrid until 2020, the club have confirmed.
Carvajal, 23, has been linked with Manchester United and Liverpool in recent months given Real's signing of Porto's Danilo, but the right-back has committed his long-term future to the club after penning a deal on Wednesday.
The extension will keep the defender at the Bernabeu for the next five seasons, and is a bonus for Los Blancos with the future of Sergio Ramos uncertain following links with a move to Old Trafford.

Spain international Carvajal joined Real's youth system as a 10-year-old and played for the club's B side Castilla between 2010 and 2012.
After failing to make a single first-team appearance for Real, the defender was sold to Bayer Leverkusen for €5 million.
Following an impressive 2012-13 Bundesliga campaign, Real exercised their buy-back option to re-sign Carvajal, who has been a regular since his return to the Bernabeu.
