Cristiano Ronaldo lands IFFHS award as top goalscorer of 2013

Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has picked up yet another award after landing the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) prize as the top goalscorer of 2013.

Ronaldo, 29, fired 69 goals in all competitions for Real Madrid and Portugal in the calendar year where he landed the Copa del Rey and Champions League titles at the end of the 2013-14 season.

Of those, 15 goals for Real Madrid came in the Champions League and 10 for Portugal during 2013.

The Portuguese later shared his joy at winning the award with his Instagram followers.

I feel honored to win the World's Top Goalscorer 2013 award by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics. Thank you all.
