Mexico international Andres Guardado will be sidelined two to three weeks with a groin injury sustained over the weekend, his club PSV Eindhoven confirmed on Monday.

Guardado will miss the club's match vs. AZ this week. Guardado could be back in time for PSV Eindhoven's match vs. Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg in Europa League action on Feb. 19 and could also play three days later against FC Dordrecht in league action.

Guardado injured his groin in his side's 3-1 win over FC Utrecht.
