PSV sign Park from QPR

PSV Eindhoven have signed Park Ji-Sung from Queens Park Rangers on a season-long loan deal.

Park, 32, becomes the third player to leave the Championship club in such a deal this week, following Adel Taarabt and Loic Remy out of Loftus Road, and returns to the club he represented between 2003 and 2005. Park was part of the PSV team that reached the Champions League semi-finals in 2005.

The deal is subject to a work permit being obtained for the former South Korea international midfielder and he will continue to train with QPR in the interim.

PSV have already signed Stijn Schaars, Santiago Arias, Florian Jozefzoon, Adam Maher, Karim Rekik and Jeffrey Bruma while Kevin Strootman, Dries Mertens, Erik Pieters and Jeremain Lens have all left as coach Phillip Cocu overhauls his playing squad.

Information from the Press Association was used in this report.
