The Stoke City manager has been impressed with the 2 million January signing from FC Dallas in two recent behind-closed-doors friendlies.

USA international Shea was among several senior players used in the 3-1 victory over Scunthorpe United at the Britannia Stadium on Monday, along with Marc Wilson, who continued his return from a broken leg.

Wilson may have to wait another couple of weeks before a first-team return, but Shea is in Pulis' thoughts for Saturday's early kick-off at Craven Cottage.

Stoke coach Mark O'Connor confirmed Shea is under consideration to be included in the squad.

"He comes into our thinking for Fulham," O'Connor said. "He is in the mind of the manager.

"He's getting to know his team-mates and developing that understanding the more they play together."

Shea has already stated that he feels ready to be part of the first team set-up and has settled in well since his arrival less than three weeks ago.

Wilson has been sidelined since he fractured his left fibula against Sunderland in October, but continues to make good progress in his recovery.

The Republic of Ireland international completed 60 minutes of the game, but Pulis is reluctant to rush the 25-year-old back too early and Wilson may have to wait until next month before he can return to the first-team squad.
