Boca Juniors defenders Juan Insaurralde and Jonathan Silva came to blows during the Argentina club's training session on Tuesday morning.

The defenders who were playing with the first team at Boca's practice facility in Buenos Aires, had to be separated by teammates after punching each other.

With TV cameras rolling, both players came face to face and started arguing before the fight broke out.

Fernando Zampedri scored as Atletico Tucuman used kits borrowed from the Argentina U20 side after they arrived at their Copa Libertadores match without their luggage.

Atletico Tucuman on Tuesday beat El Nacional of Ecuador, 1-0, in the return leg of the second round of Copa Libertadores on Tuesday despite being more than an hour-and-a-half late for the kickoff in Quito and wearing kits and boots borrowed from the Argentina under-20 team.

The Argentina side saw their flight delayed nearly three hours in Guayaquil because their chartered flight to Quito did not have clearance to fly with passengers.

Sebastian Blanco has joined the Portland Timbers as a designated player.

The Portland Timbers completed the signing of winger Sebastian Blanco as a designated player on Thursday.

Blanco, 28, moves to MLS from Argentine club San Lorenzo despite interest from Mexico's Club America and Turkey's Fenerbahce, and Timbers general manager Gavin Wilkinson said the transfer was not easy to accomplish.

The Portland Timbers have signed midfielder Sebastian Blanco from Argentine club San Lorenzo, multiple league sources told ESPN FC.

While various reports out of Argentina have indicated that the transfer fee is $5 million, multiple sources told ESPN FC that the fee is closer to $4 million and that Blanco has signed a designated player contract that will pay him an annual salary of around $1.3 million.
