Moutinho eager to stay at Porto

Joao Moutinho insists he is ready to fend off a lucrative move to French side AS Monaco and remain at Porto.

Moutinho has attracted interest from a number of European clubs

Moutinho, 26, and team-mate James Rodriguez have been linked with the Ligue 2 champions and his former boss Andre Villas-Boas has also expressed interest in signing the Portugal international at Tottenham.

While Moutinho admits Porto ultimately hold the key to his future, he is unlikely to be lured away by a big money offer.

"Right now, nothing will make me change clubs. I am extremely happy here and the most important thing is happiness and winning titles," he said. "My future is up to FC Porto. No player is immune to leaving. But if something does come up, it has to be something good for both parties."

Moutinho helped Porto to their 27th league title on the weekend but is hopeful of improving on his side's Champions League performance next season after being knocked out in the round of 16 this campaign.

"We want to improve the campaign from last year, we want to improve on the European level, we want to win everything you enter and it is with this in mind that we will enter the first day of the season," he said.
