Perth Glory goalkeeper Liam Reddy is confident his team can cause some major damage in the A-League finals but he knows they face a fight just to make it there.

The Glory's finals hopes hang in the balance heading into the last round of the season.

Perth, Brisbane, and Western Sydney are in a three-horse race to seal the last remaining finals spot.

Glory (32 points) play Brisbane (32) at nib Stadium on Saturday night, before Western Sydney (33) host Adelaide on Sunday.

He's been dubbed Peter Pan by his coach, but Perth Glory goalkeeper Liam Reddy insists his nickname is still "Rocket" despite his latest heroics in goal.

Reddy has been in the form of his life this season, pulling off a series of stunning saves to keep Glory in the hunt for a top-four berth.

The 35-year-old has saved three penalties this A-League campaign -- including a full-length dive to keep out Besart Berisha's spot kick in last week's 2-1 win over the Melbourne Victory.

Western Sydney have parted ways with mid-season A-League signing Liam Reddy following the conclusion of his contract.

The 34-year-old goalkeeper joined the Wanderers in December after spending nearly two months in isolation while seeking a move away from Central Coast.

Reddy was briefly elevated to first-choice between the posts and made six appearances, including two clean sheets, before he was dropped in place of Andrew Redmayne for the club's finals campaign.

Controversial goalkeeper Liam Reddy says it feels as if his career has come full circle by joining A-League leaders Western Sydney Wanderers.

The 34-year-old has signed until the end of the season as backup to Dean Bouzanis and Andrew Redmayne in a return to Parramatta Stadium where he began his career a decade and a half ago.

Parramatta Power, in the old National Soccer League, were Reddy's first senior club in 2000 after moving from the Australian Institute of Sport.
