Indeed, Fabregas is now the official holder of the record for achieving 100 assists in the Premier League in the shortest amount of time -- thus earning himself a place in the 2019 Guinness World Records (GWR) annual.

Fabregas managed the feat in just 293 matches, some 74 fewer appearances than the previous record holder, Ryan Giggs (367 matches).

Cesc Fabregas has said that he believes Chelsea could struggle to keep Eden Hazard next summer unless they agree a contract extension.

Sources have told ESPN FC that Chelsea are prepared to make Hazard the highest-paid player in the club's history if he agrees to sign a new long-term contract, having been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid last summer.

"It was an easy decision [not to sell], especially now, because at this stage how much can Eden cost? Not many teams in the world can buy Eden...

Cesc Fabregas to Milan rumours make perfect sense for all involved parties

Given that he only had three weeks at the end of the summer transfer window to conclude deals, sporting director Leonardo naturally wasn't able to complete the AC Milan squad as desired.

While Gennaro Gattuso will remain confident that the options at his disposal will help get the Rossoneri back into the top four in Serie A, it would be a surprise if Milan didn't act in January or next summer to address the remaining flaws in the team.

Arguably the biggest issue remains adding real quality to...
