Sevilla's Jesus Navas back for key games against Barcelona, Bayern Munich

Jesus Navas is back in action for Sevilla.

Sevilla winger Jesus Navas is back to full fitness ahead of the games against Barcelona in La Liga and Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Navas has been sidelined with a thigh muscle strain and missed the last five games in all competitions, including the 2-1 Champions League win at Manchester United.

But the 32-year-old returned to full training on Monday and completed the session with no problems.

Former Manchester City winger Jesus Navas will miss Sevilla's Champions League round-of-16 second leg at Manchester United on Tuesday through injury.

The Spaniard has been sidelined with a muscle strain in his right thigh since Feb. 25 and was not included in the 22-man squad for the encounter at Old Trafford.

Navas has been a regular in Sevilla's starting lineup since returning to the Spanish club last summer from City, where he played 183 games.

Former Manchester City winger Jesus Navas has said he is aiming to help Sevilla knock Manchester United out of the Champions League.

Navas, who played 183 games for City before returning to Sevilla last summer, faces United again in Wednesday's round-of-16 first leg at the Sanchez Pizjuan stadium.

Jesus Navas has returned to former club Sevilla on a free transfer.

Navas, 31, had been a free agent after being released by Manchester City at the end of last season, having joined from Sevilla in 2013.

But the Spain international has now returned to the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, signing a four-year deal with the La Liga club.

Navas, who made his Sevilla debut in 2003, is to be officially unveiled to the club's supporters on Wednesday.

Sevilla president Jose Castro has said the club still hope to sign Jesus Navas and Stevan Jovetic.

Navas, a free agent after his contract at Manchester City ended, has been heavily linked with a return to the club where he began his career.

And Jovetic, who spent the second half of last season on loan to Sevilla from Inter Milan, is another player they have made an approach for.
