With safety secured, Cherries can start building for next season starting vs. Stoke

Eddie Howe's side are now safe and his side can finally enjoy a stress-free remainder of the season, starting with their next fixture against Stoke City on May 6. After two wins and clean sheets in the past two fixtures, the chance to even build some momentum heading into the next campaign is possible and a great opportunity the Cherries should not throw away.

While the next four games are a chance just to enjoy the football and embrace the achievement of securing Premier League football for a...

Harry Arter, Jack Wilshere impress but Bournemouth fall short vs. Chelsea

Bournemouth were in a strong position to cause an upset against league leaders Chelsea after picking up points at Manchester United and Liverpool away from home in their last five Premier League fixtures. However, it simply wasn't to be for Eddie Howe's men on a sunny south coast afternoon.

Positives

Harry Arter and Jack Wilshere were simply class in the centre of midfield. They completed 90 and 68 passes respectively compared to N'Golo Kante's 52, and saw more of the ball than the Premier League...

Artur Boruc back to his best as Bournemouth grind out Saints draw

A point away from home against a solid Southampton side will satisfy most Bournemouth fans.

Saturday's first-half performance was poor, but the Cherries stepped on the gas in the second 45 minutes and the resulting scoreless draw was a fair result.

While it's another game away from home in which Eddie Howe's side have failed to win, a clean sheet and avoiding defeat is something that helps keep the momentum going as the club head into the next match.

Another clean sheet and the continued...

Artur Boruc gets 10 out of 10 as Bournemouth get a draw at Man United

That was the heroic performance Bournemouth desperately needed to get out of their bad run of form. To hold the newly crowned EFL Cup champions Manchester United to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford is a decent result for any side, especially playing with 10 men for the entire second half. The Cherries will be hopeful it's all up from here on.

Positives

The resilience and fantastic attitude on display by every Bournemouth player was the biggest positive of the day. Tyrone Mings finally put in a decent...

Boruc, Bournemouth clumsily throw away points at West Brom

It was another defeat for Bournemouth and the south coast side have now picked up just two points since their victory over Swansea on Dec. 31. The Cherries remain a comfortable five points above the drop zone but they still need a few more wins before confirming their Premier League status for next season. However, it's difficult to see where the next three points are going to come from as performances of late have been very poor.
