Marco Reus, Borussia Dortmund attack misfires in goalless draw with Hannover

Borussia Dortmund dropped two points away to Hannover in a dull scoreless draw on Friday night. The league leaders were hopeful to remain perfect in their second match ahead of the international break but were denied by the woodwork twice in a match that saw otherwise very little action in front of both goals.

It's a point BVB will have to live with, as their new-look side is still growing together. Lucien Favre's men put a strong focus on keeping their own defence tidy in contrast to Dortmund's...

Marcel Schmelzer, defence let Roman Burki, Dortmund down vs. Bayern

Bayern Munich deservedly moved on to the round of eight of the DFP-Pokal, dismantling Borussia Dortmund 2-1 at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.

The hosts dominantly showed the gulf in class between them and Dortmund in the first half and why there is currently a 13-point gap in the league between the two Bundesliga teams.

Though, FCB were wasteful early on, as chances came thick and fast against the bodiless visitors. Centre-back Jerome Boateng headed home a rebound in the 12th minute after...

Christian Pulisic scores, Dortmund run clean sheet streak to five at Hamburg

Borussia Dortmund remain on top of the Bundesliga after Matchday five, dismantling Hamburg 3-0 at the Volksparkstadion on Wednesday night. Shinji Kagawa, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Christian Pulisic put their names on the scoresheet but the real star of Dortmund's domestic season so far is their defence, picking up a fifth consecutive clean sheet.

Dortmund a more balanced and deeper team despite losing Ousmane Dembele

The international break brought a quick halt to Borussia Dortmund's strong start to the Bundesliga campaign, which sees them on top of the table after Matchday 2.

Five goals and, even more importantly, two clean sheets against Wolfsburg and Hertha Berlin were the result of two comprehensive performances under newly appointed manager Peter Bosz.

In the first two matches, Dortmund impressively demonstrated a good mix of aggressive counter-pressing and ball retention that allowed them...

Borussia Monchengladbach's Mahmoud Dahoud to join Dortmund

Mahmoud Dahoud had been linked with a move to Liverpool.

Liverpool target Mahmoud Dahoud will join Borussia Dortmund in the summer, his current club Borussia Monchengladbach have confirmed.

Dahoud, a Germany under-21 international midfielder, has signed a five-year deal at the Westfalenstadion.

The 21-year-old had been identified as a possible summer transfer target by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

However, Dortmund -- Klopp's old club -- have beaten him to Dahoud, who will leave Gladbach after seven years.

Borussia Monchengladbach set for fresh talks with Mahmoud Dahoud

Mahmoud Dahoud has been linked with a number of clubs from around Europe.

Borussia Monchengladbach are set for another round of contract negotiations with reported Manchester City and Liverpool target Mahmoud Dahoud.

Dahoud, 21, is one of the most coveted youngsters in the Bundesliga despite having made only 44 top-flight appearances to date.

The Syria-born Germany under-21 international, who has also been linked with moves to Juventus and Borussia Dortmund, is under contract at Borussia Park until 2018, but Gladbach are hopeful he will sign fresh terms with the club....
