Luke Shaw's first senior goal proved decisive for Man United in the opening match of the Premier League season, as they held on to beat Leicester.

Leicester City's Leonardo Ulloa ended his four-year stay at the club to join Mexican outfit Pachuca while fellow striker Islam Slimani sealed a season-long switch to Turkish side Fenerbahce, the Premier League side announced on Sunday.

Ulloa, who joined Leicester from Brighton and Hove Albion, scored 20 goals in 101 appearances for the club and helped them win the Premier League title in the 2015-16 campaign.

Newcastle United's Islam Slimani to miss rest of season through suspension

Islam Slimani will miss the final three games of his loan spell at Newcastle through suspension after accepting a charge of violent conduct, the Football Association has announced.

The 29-year-old striker, who arrived from Leicester in January, was charged after kicking out at West Brom defender Craig Dawson during Saturday's 1-0 Premier League defeat at St James' Park.

An FA statement said: "Islam Slimani will miss Newcastle United's next three matches after he was charged with violent conduct.

Newcastle striker Islam Slimani hit with violent conduct charge

Loan signing Islam Slimani could have played his final game for Newcastle after being charged with violent conduct.

The 29-year-old Leicester striker has been hit with a Football Association charge after appearing to kick out at defender Craig Dawson during Saturday's 1-0 Premier League defeat by West Brom.

Referee David Coote did not see the incident and Slimani was not punished at the time, but he faces a three-match ban if he either admits or is convicted of the alleged offence.
