Juventus' Stefano Sturaro turns in poor display, Serie A title race wide open

Displaying a poor attitude and little to no ambition, Juventus dropped two points on Wednesday -- managing only a 1-1 draw against Crotone and opening a slender chance for Napoli to capture the Serie A title.

Crotone were not a side to be underestimated. This season they have managed to defeat Fiorentina, earn a point against Inter, and convincingly thrash Sampdoria. Against Juventus, they refused to roll over.

Juve, by contrast, did not seem motivated to grind out a result. Players were clearly...

Sturaro has followed Rugani's lead in committing himself to the Bianconeri for the next four-and-a-half years by penning a two-year extension on Thursday.

"This new contract is already a lovely Christmas present for me," Sturaro told the club's official website. "My dream? To spend the rest of my career here. First of all I hope and I think I'll still be...

Juventus' Stefano Sturaro close to signing new deal - agent

Juventus midfielder Stefano Sturaro is set to sign a new contract with the Serie A club, who want him at the centre of their project for the future, according to the player's agent.

Sturaro, 23, has been restricted to just four substitute appearances for Juve this season, with a knee injury over the summer setting him back.

The Italy international, nevertheless, has a prominent role to play at the club, according to Carlo Volpi, who expects his client to stay with the Bianconeri for many years to...
