Hull City's Moses Odubajo out up to six months with new injury

Moses Odubajo has a fractured patella and will miss approximately six months for Hull City.

Hull have been dealt a blow with the news defender Moses Odubajo will be out for around six months with a fractured patella.

The right-back, who had just stepped up his recovery from a knee injury which required reconstructive surgery during the summer, sustained his latest injury in a non-contact incident during training.

Moses Odubajo was injured in the summer but could return by November.

Hull defender Moses Odubajo hopes to be ready for Premier League debut next month.

The right-back suffered a nasty knee injury in the Tigers' first preseason friendly against Grimsby but is finally training outside again and plans to be available before November is out.

He has never appeared in the top-flight before but was a key part of the club's promotion last term and would be a major boost to Mike Phelan's squad.

Hull full-back Moses Odubajo out six months with knee injury

Moses Odubajo was injured during Friday's friendly against Grimsby Town.

Hull full-back Moses Odubajo is likely to be out until 2017 after the club confirmed he had ruptured a ligament in his knee and will miss the next six months.

The 22-year-old former Brentford player sustained the injury in a friendly with Grimsby on Friday and it follows last week's news that Allan McGregor and Alex Bruce will also miss the beginning of the campaign with problems.
