Phil Jones has been banned for two matches and Daley Blind fined by UEFA after the Manchester United pair were found guilty of breaching the governing body's doping regulations after the Europa League final in May.

There is no suggestion that either player was guilty of doping.

Jones was found to be verbally abusive toward a doping control officer after he was requested to attend drug-testing after the final in Stockholm on May 24, and will now miss the UEFA Super Cup match against Real Madrid next...

Daley Blind's Instagram fail as Man United ace gets shirt message wrong

Daley Blind has become the latest footballer to fall foul of sloppy social media technique after failing to copy and paste an Instagram message correctly.

The Dutch defender posted a photo of himself posing in Manchester United's new third shirt, along with a caption that featured a little more information than intended.

"Hi mate, would you be ok posting this image on your social channels with the following copy?" read the extraneous text, most likely sent out by United's social media representative...
