Wayne Rooney: Daley Blind is Manchester United's slowest player

Jose Mourinho says after working for three years with Pep Guardiola at Barca, the two now have a professional relationship as opponents.

Daley Blind might not be amused by Wayne Rooney's latest comments about him on a Facebook Q&A video, although they did draw a laugh from the Manchester United captain.

Rooney had been asked about who the slowest player at United is and Rooney singled out the Dutchman. Ashley Young was reading out the questions sent in by fans and also laughed as the United captain revealed his answer.

Rooney said: "Slowest player? I'd have to say Daley Blind. Sorry Daley. He makes up for it with his mind, he's...

Jose Mourinho answers a variety of questions as he looks forward to the new season in charge of Manchester United.

Manchester United's previous manager was known for quixotic choices, reinventing and rebranding his players by deploying them in a variety of positions. Mourinho arrived promising simplicity and straightforward choices.

"I am very clear in my approach," he said at his unveiling last week. "In my model of play, I need specialist...

ESPN FC's Shaka Hislop discusses how Jose Mourinho will manage all his options next season at Manchester United.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho spoke for the first time on Monday about the prospect of players leaving the club. But who could be first in line to make an exit?

So far this summer, the only first-team players to leave United have been Victor Valdes and Nick Powell, fringe players who were marginalised under former manager Louis van Gaal and released at the end of their contracts. The focus has been on strengthening the squad, with striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, attacking midfielder...
