Stanislas' goal leads Bournemouth to milestone top-half finish

Bournemouth ended the 2016-17 campaign in decent fashion with a 1-1 draw against last season's champions Leicester City at their own ground. The Cherries' away form has been mediocre at best this season, but the point secured at the King Power stadium earned them a place in the Premier League's top 10. It might be insignificant to the rest of the division, but to Eddie Howe and his team it's another standout moment in the club's growing history.

Josh King puts the cherry on top of Bournemouth's home season

Bournemouth gave the fans something to cheer about by claiming a 2-1 win against Burnley in their last home game of the season. Not only did they deliver three points, but the players put in a great team performance from front to back. There's a realistic chance the club could now secure a top-10 finish with a win against Leicester in the last game of the season.

Steve Cook shines, Lys Mousset struggles in Bournemouth's draw with Stoke

It was not only another thoroughly entertaining game of football at the Vitality Stadium, but the Cherries secured the point they needed to fully guarantee safety from relegation. The south coast side showed some real brilliance in some periods of the game, but some equally as poor defending at other times. The rest of the season is here to enjoy but there are definitely some areas of improvement for the next campaign.

Jack Wilshere leads list of Cherries players looking to impress at Spurs

Despite a recent defeat to league leaders Chelsea, Bournemouth still remain in a decent run of results and a victory over Tottenham is definitely achievable. The Cherries admittedly struggle in matches away from the Vitality Stadium, but with Josh King in such impressive form, the south coast club have a good chance against any side. Manager Eddie Howe said it's likely to be one of the toughest games of the season, but if King is firing properly, they should be aiming for three points.

Afobe finally makes good on Howe's trust vs. hapless Swansea City

Bournemouth's performance in their 3-0 win over Swansea City on Dec. 31 was the perfect way to round off what has been a superb 2016 for the club. From front to back the entire team played excellently and judging by the performance it's a surprise that this is just the Cherries' second away win of the season.

Short on goal scoring, Sturridge would make a lot of sense for Bournemouth

Getting back to winning ways against high-flying Liverpool on Sunday is going to be a difficult task, but with the return of Jack Wilshere, Bournemouth will have a much better chance of doing just that. The south coast side were dealt a 3-1 loss by Arsenal last weekend but they will take positives -- of which there were many -- from their decent performance at the Emirates. If they tighten up the defence and use Wilshere effectively, a similar result against Jurgen Klopp's travelling team is far...
