Torino were right to sign AC Milan's M'Baye Niang - Sinisa Mihajlovic

M'Baye Niang of Torino
M'Baye Niang has had a frustrating time at Torino.

Torino coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has said the club did not "throw money away" when they signed M'Baye Niang from AC Milan.

Niang, 22, joined for €15 million in the summer window, but the forward has scored only once in eight appearances this season.

Mihajlovic left him on the bench for the win over Cagliari on Sunday, but stressed that was not a punishment for poor form.

"Niang knows that he's got to grow, but I can guarantee that we've not thrown money away on him," Mihajlovic said at his postmatch...

AC Milan's M'Baye Niang wants to decide on which club he moves to

M'Baye Niang has told AC Milan that he would like to decide where he plays this season after handing in a doctor's note for the next 10 days.

Niang, 22, is pushing for a move to Torino, who are coached by his former Milan mentor Sinisa Mihajlovic, but their offer does not match the highest one the Rossoneri have received, which came from Spartak Moscow.

As uncertainty surrounds his future, Niang has handed in a sick note until the end of the transfer window, saying that he is suffering from...

M'Baye Niang rejects permanent Watford stay after loan from AC Milan

M'Baye Niang was on target for Watford.
M'Baye Niang, 22, joined Watford from AC Milan in January.

M'Baye Niang has opted against joining Watford permanently following the end of his loan spell.

The French striker, 22, joined the Hornets on loan from AC Milan in January and scored two goals across his 11 Premier League appearances.

Watford have undergone a change of head coach since the Premier League season ended, with Marco Silva replacing Walter Mazzarri, and even though he expects to receive overtures about a permanent move to Hertfordshire, Niang believes his own future lies back in Milan.
