Danny Welbeck: Reading books during injury rehab made me a stronger person

England forward Danny Welbeck has revealed a reading list including Mike Tyson's autobiography and motivational manual "Relentless" has made him a stronger person on and off the pitch.

Welbeck will be heading to this summer's World Cup with the Three Lions and has more reason than most to look forward to it, having missed out on Euro 2016 with a knee injury which ended up sidelining him for eight months.

The Arsenal frontman admits his lay-off was a major setback, both professionally and psychologically,...

As Arsenal prepare for overhaul, which players will stay or go?

With the Arsenal managerial job now available, the FC crew assess the possible successors to Arsene Wenger and the challenges they will face.

Arsenal's squad could face a big -- and according to some, much needed -- overhaul this summer with the arrival of a new manager. Whoever takes up Arsene Wenger's position will have some big decisions to make on which players to keep and which to sell as he tries to the Gunners back into title contenders.

Those decisions will, in part, be based on what type of system the new manager has in mind and which new signings he brings in during the transfer window. But here's a prediction of which Arsenal...

Arsenal's solution moving forward could be pairing two strikers

It's been a long time since Arsenal regularly lined up with two strikers. You probably have to go back a decade to a brief period when Arsene Wenger rotated Robin van Persie, Emmanuel Adebayor and Eduardo da Silva in a front pairing. However, there have been hints in the past few weeks that Wenger is toying with the idea of playing with two genuine forwards once more.

The most recent example came during Arsenal's 3-2 Premier League victory over struggling Southampton on Sunday. It wasn't quite...

Danny Welbeck: Other Arsenal strikers provide 'added motivation' to improve

Arsenal's Danny Welbeck discusses his confidence after inspiring a 3-2 victory over Southampton.

Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck told the Guardian he is not worried about his critics and insists the competition up front from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang only serves as "added motivation" for him to improve.

Welbeck scored two goals in Arsenal's 3-2 win over Southampton on Sunday, including an 81st-minute winner shortly after the visitors equalised.

The brace was his second in his last three starts after he scored twice against AC Milan in the Europa League on March 15, but the goals were his first...

Danny Welbeck's return to form after injuries 'exceptional' - Arsene Wenger

LONDON -- Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger hailed the "exceptional" Danny Welbeck for getting back to his best after his many injury problems, as the forward netted a brace in Sunday's 3-2 win over Southampton.

Welbeck headed home the winner in the 81st minute to settle an eventful game at the Emirates, having previously made it 2-1 with a deflected shot in the first half.

The brace was his second in his last three starts after struggling for form for most of the season -- his first full campaign in three...
