Jeremy Menez happy at AC Milan and says fans deserve European football

French forward Menez has scored 15 goals and set up another four in 28 Serie A appearances this season.

Jeremy Menez admits he is not pleased with the way AC Milan's season is going, but insists he is still happy at the Serie A club.

Menez, 27, arrived at the Rossoneri from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer and, under the guidance of Filippo Inzaghi, the preseason expectations were high.

After missing out on a place in Europe for the first time in 16 years, Milan were bidding to bounce back, but things have not gone according to plan in spite of the Frenchman's 15 goals.

AC Milan lose their heads against Lazio and pressure increases on Inzaghi

Philippe Mexes lost his cool, grabbing the throat of Lazio's Stefano Mauri in AC Milan's 3-1 loss.

Given AC Milan's success against the top teams in Serie A so far this season, a trip to Lazio was seen as an opportunity for Filippo "Pippo" Inzaghi's to quiet recent criticism. Instead, the club capitulated in the second half and succumbed to a 3-1 loss at the Stadio Olimpico.
