Roma old boys Benatia, Pjanic and Szczesny star for Juventus in narrow win

It took Roma's former players to secure Juventus a 1-0 victory Saturday, taking them to within a point of Napoli at the top of the Serie A table.

On Friday morning, Turin based newspaper Tuttosport ran a front-page headline that read "From losing Romans to winning Juventini" accompanied by a picture of Medhi Benatia, Miralem Pjanic and Wojciech Szczesny to stoke the ire of Roma and their coach. As it transpired, Juventus won the match thanks to the performance of those very three...

Pjanic 8/10 as Juventus rout Bologna, climb to second in Serie A

Pjanic seized control of Sunday's game and helped Juventus complete a comfortable victory.

Thumping Bologna 3-0, Miralem Pjanic was exceptional and helped earn Juventus the win that put them second in Serie A, one point behind Napoli. In truth, Bologna played with no ambition and looked to be a little intimidated by the opponent. They not only never pushed up the pitch in search of a goal but created close to nothing, managing only one shot on target throughout the match.

Juventus were firmly in control throughout but were never really forced to play to their full potential, aware...

Goals from Mario Mandzukic, Matteo di Sciligo, and Mehdi Benatia ensured Juventus get past Crotone as they continue to chase Napoli in the Serie A TIM standings.
Check out all the best moments from Serie A's top sides, as Napoli continue to set the pace and Inter stay close behind.

Back to their winning ways in Serie A, Juventus defeated a well-organised Crotone 3-0 to keep pace with Inter and Napoli ahead of them in the table.

Crotone arrived at Turin with no intention to attack. Defending in organised fashion, their only objective centred around halting Juve's attack -- and it worked well in the first half as they kept Juventus at bay.

However, blessed with superior quality, Massimiliano Allegri's men broke the deadlock early in the second half while the substitutes made...

Selfless Mario Mandzukic rewarded by scoring late winner vs. Sporting

It was tight and Juventus left it late but Mario Mandzukic scored the winning goal to defeat Sporting Lisbon 2-1 and help Juve return to winning ways.

Running several risks at the back, it wasn't long before Sporting took control of the game and began to threaten Juve, forcing the Italians into a bizarre mistake that led to an own goal.

Showing fighting spirit, the Bianconeri pushed and equalised soon after but never looked in control of the game with the Portuguese side winning back possession...

Juventus' Miralem Pjanic set to miss around three weeks

Miralem Pjanic could miss important games for both Juventus and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Miralem Pjanic is expected to miss Juventus' games against Atalanta and Lazio after straining his quadriceps prior to the Bianconeri's 2-0 win over Olympiakos on Wednesday.

Pjanic will miss Bosnia and Herzegovina's decisive World Cup qualifiers against Belgium and Estonia after being ruled out for almost three weeks -- an absence that could also see him miss Juve's next Champions League fixture against Sporting Lisbon.

"Miralem Pjanic underwent medical checks this morning that revealed a strain...

Gonzalo Higuain, Paulo Dybala shrink again on Champions League stage

Comprehensively defeated by Barcelona 3-0, Juventus are a far cry from the balanced and solid unit they were the last time these two sides met.

Defensively vulnerable, offensively impotent, Juve produced a good first-half performance before they capitulated in the second half and allowed Lionel Messi to work his magic and overwhelm a side that has yet to recover its fluidity and strength.
