The January window might have just shut, but Transfer Talk still has the updates on all the latest rumours and done deals.

United remain hopeful of Perisic switch

Manchester United have long been linked with Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic, and the Mirror reports that they have not given up on signing him.

Despite Jose Mourinho's insistence that they will not be buying attackers in the summer, it says United are still keen to bring Perisic to Old Trafford -- but only if Inter do not qualify for next...

Ivan Perisic's hat trick earns him 10/10 as Inter Milan remain unbeaten

Inter hammered Chievo at the San Siro on Sunday, thanks to an Ivan Perisic hat trick.

There were long stretches of simply excellent football from the Nerazzurri, whose first two goals (the second was by Mauro Icardi) owed something to Stefano Sorrentino errors.

Though Chievo bravely tried to fight back, Inter rolled over them around the hour mark, Milan Skriniar joining the fun with a diving header, because the Slovakian isn't content with being a mere mortal.

'No release clause' in Ivan Perisic's new contract - Inter Milan chief

Ivan Perisic has been in fine form for Inter Milan this season.

Inter Milan rejected Manchester United's offer for Ivan Perisic this summer because they are convinced they can be as successful as Manchester United, the club's sporting director Piero Ausilio has said.

Perisic, 28, was a major target for United, but new Inter boss Luciano Spalletti was important in persuading the Croatia international to stay at the San Siro and sign a new contract until 2020, which does not have a release clause.

"Nobody denies that this offer from Manchester United arrived,...

Luciano Spalletti hails Ivan Perisic's leadership and sacrifice for Inter

Ivan Perisic added a late second goal as Inter beat Crotone.

Inter Milan boss Luciano Spalletti praised the "sacrifice" of Ivan Perisic for leading his side to a 2-0 win away to Crotone on Saturday.

After Milan Skriniar broke the deadlock in the 82nd minute, Perisic scored in stoppage time -- his third goal of the season.

And Spalletti said Perisic's leadership was a crucial factor in Inter opening the campaign with four consecutive victories.

"Perisic sacrificed himself a lot," Spaletti told Mediaset Premium. "Leaders show themselves when...

Inter Milan hope Ivan Perisic revival continues as winger signs new deal

It's been a remarkable turnaround for Ivan Perisic. Barely 18 months ago, he was a winger who strutted around on the left without doing much in Roberto Mancini's team, certainly not enough to justify his €16 million price tag.

Then came a Coppa Italia fixture against Juventus, where the former Wolfsburg man dazzled throughout 120 blistering minutes, helping Inter stage an unlikely three-goal comeback. From there on, Perisic was a different player, showcasing the pace, dribbling and eye for...
