PSG: Neymar's injured ankle won't need surgery

Steve Nicol urges Neymar to change the way that he plays after the Brazil star suffered another injury setback that will cause him to miss the Copa America.
Kate Markgraf examines Brazil's struggles entering the FIFA Women's World Cup, which now include Marta's absence for the opener vs. Jamaica.

Paris Saint-Germain have announced Neymar will not need surgery on his injured right ankle and should be fully recovered in four weeks.

The Parisian club said in a statement on Saturday that team doctor Dr. Laurent Aumont and Gerard Saillant evaluated the former Barcelona forward earlier in the day.

"Both doctors diagnosed a sprain of the external lateral ligament of the right ankle without surgical indication," the statement on the club website read.

"The treatment of this injury will be articulated around a functional rehabilitation. The return of the Paris Saint-Germain striker should take place within four weeks."

Neymar withdrew from Brazil's Copa America squad on Thursday after injuring the ankle near the start of a 2-0 friendly win over Qatar the night before.

Neymar is also facing a rape allegation from a woman who says she was assaulted in a Paris hotel on May 15. He denies any wrongdoing.

Brazil manager Tite on Friday called up Chelsea winger Willian to take Neymar's place in his team.

The tournament, which Brazil will host, begins next week.
