Neymar posts tribute to Stephen Hawking from his wheelchair

Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil superstar Neymar posted a tribute to the late physicist Stephen Hawking on Wednesday.

Neymar, who could miss up to three months after suffering a broken bone in his right metatarsal, is in Brazil recovering after having surgery for the injury last month.

The world's most expensive player posted on Instagram an image of himself -- injured foot in a large boot -- seated in the wheelchair he's been seen using since the surgery, with a Hawking quote about living with disability in the caption.

"One has to have a positive attitude and must make the best of the situation that one finds oneself in," it read.

Hawking, who died aged 76 on Tuesday, was diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disease ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) at the age of 21, which eventually left him wheelchair-bound and paralysed.
