Paris Saint-Germain fans to be banned from Marseille Classique
Paris Saint-Germain will be without away supporters at Marseille for the third time in three seasons when they travel to the Stade Velodrome later this month.
Marseille police have opted to ban away supporters from travelling for fear of violence at the Classique on Oct. 22.
Chief of police Olivier de Mazieres met security representatives from both clubs on Thursday to announce the decision, which should be confirmed by France's Interior Ministry on Friday.
Previous matches between the two clubs have seen street battles between rival fans and police.
