Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery dismisses Roma move speculation

PARIS -- Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery has brushed off reports linking him with a move to Roma.

Corriere dello Sport reported that Roma had reached agreement for Emery to take over from Luciano Spalletti on a three-year deal in the summer.

But speaking at a news conference ahead of Saturday's Ligue 1 clash with Montpellier, Emery said: "I am on not on the market. I am under contract with PSG next season.

"All of the confidence that the president [Nasser Al-Khelaifi] has granted me, I owe him in return. It is not true that I have signed somewhere else.

"I am 100 percent focused on PSG in Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France."

Emery said left-back Layvin Kurzawa was almost certain to miss out against Montpellier because of injury, with midfielder Adrien Rabiot a doubt after missing the win at Metz with a knock.

"For Layvin, it is going to be difficult," Emery added. "We will see after training this afternoon for the rest of the players.

"Adrien did some tests this morning after suffering a knock earlier in the week. We are going to wait and see what the results are."

PSG could hit top spot in League 1 if they win against Montpellier, with leaders Monaco are not in action until Sunday, when they travel to Lyon.
