Roberto Mancini not ruling out Paris Saint-Germain job in future

Roberto Mancini has left the door open for a potential move to Paris Saint-Germain in the future.

The Italian was most recently in charge of Inter Milan for the second time but left in August 2016.

Speaking with TF1's Telefoot over the weekend, Mancini said there has never been any contact with the French champions but hinted he would like to live and work in Paris at some point.

"For now I am on vacation," the 52-year-old said. "I am waiting for something good next season.

"Would I be the coach of PSG? There has been no contact and I was still on the Inter [Milan] bench when these rumours started emerging.

"Anything is possible in football, as Paris is a beautiful city and this sport is unpredictable."

Mancini went on to praise PSG and admired two of their three January recruits, Julian Draxler and Goncalo Guedes.

"PSG are a great side, a big club with huge champions," Mancini said. "Their latest signings, Draxler and Guedes, are both very talented."

When Mancini was asked about the best players he has coached, he named former PSG talisman and current Manchester United star Zlatan Ibrahimovic as one of his three picks.

However, the Italian also said he admires PSG striker Edinson Cavani and wanted to sign the Uruguay international when he was Inter coach.

He said: "I would say Zlatan, Yaya [Toure] and Sergio [Aguero]. It is tough to choose, though. Zlatan is a player who can still make the difference now at Manchester United, so PSG lost out when he left.

"Having said that, they have got Edinson, who I think is fantastic. I had wanted him at Inter, in fact."
