Angel Di Maria will see out Paris Saint-Germain contract amid China links

Paris Saint-Germain wide man Angel Di Maria has said that he is happy with the French champions and intends to finish his contract with the capital club amid rumours linking him with a big money move to China.

So far this season, the Argentina international has been well below the high standards he set himself in his debut campaign at Parc des Princes and his poor form has led to intense speculation he is unhappy in the French capital.

Asked by ESPN in Argentina over recent rumours linking him with a switch to the Chinese Super League, Di Maria took the opportunity to make some things clear -- notably his desire to win the UEFA Champions League with Unai Emery's men.

"I am very happy here and I have two years of contract left," he said. "My family is happy here. There have been rumours, of course, but this is the first chance I have had to address the subject. But I am happy here and I will stay here until the end of my contract.

"Everybody has their own different way of thinking. People can have the desire to go and play in China -- It is obvoius that with the amounts of money on offer that some people can be attracted to that.

"However, not in my case, I prefer to stay here, be happy and reach the objective I set for myself -- Come to Paris and win the Champions League."

Di Maria is under pressure to rediscover his best form since the arrival of Julian Draxler from Wolfsburg earlier this month.

The South American was benched in favour of the German for the 1-0 win away at Stade Rennais last Saturday and Draxler scored the only goal of the match as Di Maria watched on along with the other substitutes.
