PSG boss Laurent Blanc hints at Ezequiel Lavezzi, Salvatore Sirigu exits

Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has said he believes "not a lot will happen" at his club during the January transfer window.

However, he added that players could depart, with both Argentine winger Ezequiel Lavezzi and goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu having been linked with moves.

Lavezzi, 30, and Sirigu, 28, both appear likely to leave the Parc des Princes before the window closes, with Serie A leaders Inter Milan reported to be interested in Lavezzi.

Blanc, speaking ahead of his side's friendly against Inter in Qatar on Wednesday, said: "No Paris Saint-Germain player is out of contract in January, but there are players who will maybe change club mid-season.

"When the transfer window is open, we'll discuss it with them and their agents. PSG will take sporting decisions, and then you'll be informed about it.

"You'll have to wait a little longer for details on the transfer window. In my opinion, the winter transfer window is not a good thing.

"We'll see what happens at Paris Saint-Germain. I honestly think, between you and me, that not a lot will happen."

Inter manager Roberto Mancini joked that "for Lavezzi, maybe we talk after the press conference," to which Blanc replied: "I'm ready."

But Mancini said that although his club had been linked with moves for players, he felt they had a good squad and was not interested in signing anyone.

Former Palermo keeper Sirigu has lost his place to summer signing Kevin Trapp and said he would consider offers as he aims to secure a place in Italy's Euro 2016 squad.

Blanc pointed out that Sirigu was under contract with PSG until 2018, adding: "For the moment, he's asked for nothing at all of me.

"You know that his situation is difficult. I hope it will improve for him -- I say that without hesitation and with all honesty. But, like I said, the transfer window is not yet open."
