Lucas Moura: PSG aiming to finish Ligue 1 unbeaten

Midfielder Lucas Moura says Paris Saint-Germain's goal is to go through Ligue 1 unbeaten this season.

PSG remained unbeaten with 11 wins and two draws to start the campaign after Saturday's 5-0 rout of Toulouse.

Lucas came on as a substitute in the 63rd minute and scored his side's third goal four minutes later.

"I'm very happy with the win and secondly to have come on and help my team," Lucas said. "It's never easy watching from the sidelines, so when I came on, I wanted to make the most of it. I'm still young, and I improve every day playing alongside such quality players.

Asked if PSG had already wrapped up the league title with an 11-point lead in early Novemeber, Lucas said: "No, not yet, but if we keep playing like this, we will be soon. Our aim is to make history by not losing a match this season."

Ezequiel Lavezzi also scored late in Saturday's game after coming on with Lucas, and PSG manager Laurent Blanc said he was impressed by the substitutes' composure.

"In the first half, I was most pleased by everyone working hard to win back possession. We needed to focus and show the right attitude, to always want the ball," Blanc said. "I told the players they would be coming on and they showed their worth off the bench."

Blanc was also pleased that his team had only dropped four points from 13 games.

"It's a good thing," he said. "My team is playing very well at the moment."

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was the star of the game, supplying goals in the 18th and 75th minutes. He said the win was a good result after a 1-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.

"We're on the right track. We played well tonight. We played well against Madrid too on Tuesday, but unfortunately we lost," the Swede said. "Winning immediately was important.

"Tonight we really played well and we won. We are in control of the championship, but it's not finished yet. The more we win in Ligue 1, the better are chances in all the other competitions."
