Eden Hazard: No to PSG for now

Eden Hazard has told beIN SPORTS he will remain a Chelsea player for the immediate future, telling Paris Saint-Germain: "For the moment... it's no."

Eden Hazard celebrates his second goal against Newcastle United.
Eden Hazard has attracted PSG's attention with his stunning Stamford Bridge performances

The 23-year-old forward has been the subject of intense media speculation in France that he will be the next big name to move to PSG, a club who approached him before he made the switch to Stamford Bridge from Lille in the summer of 2012 in an estimated 40 million euro deal.

Though he admitted he had dreamed of playing at the Parc des Princes as a youngster, Hazard does not see himself making the return trip across the Channel just yet.

"When I started playing at Lille, it's true that I fancied playing at the Parc des Princes," he said. "But I'm currently happy at Chelsea. For the moment, for PSG, it's no. I still have a lot to do at Chelsea."

Recently hailed as the "best young player in the world" by Blues boss Jose Mourinho, Hazard is expected to be the star of a youthful and talented Belgium side at this summer's World Cup.

After falling out with former national team boss Georges Leekens and the Belgian public, Hazard has become the central figure of Marc Wilmots' squad, and both the hero and the hope of his nation for the tournament in Brazil.

"We know our strengths,” Hazard continued. “Few teams are better individually. Marc Wilmots is someone I appreciate a lot. He gives me confidence. There is nothing better for a player than to be applauded and encouraged by his own supporters."
